He’s only six years old, but already Kate Hudson’s son Ryder Robinson has great taste! The Nine star says her little guy has a crush on her co-star, Penélope Cruz. According to Kate, Ryder would point out Penelope while his mom was filming, saying, ” ‘I saw Penelope in the lobby today,’ ” Kate tells Extra.

“You could see that he recognized what a beautiful woman she is,” Kate adds of her little man. “He’s so cute!”

For her part, Kate was awestruck by legendary screen siren Sophia Loren.

“She’s just incredibly elegant and beautiful,” Kate dishes. “And the work she’s done, and the people she’s worked with. It’s like a living legend, an icon!”

A rendering of Alex Rodriguez as a centaur gave Kate Hudson a case of the giggles.

When an MTV News reporter showed the actress a mock-up of her Yankees boyfriend as half-man, half-horse, the actress blushed and laughed — but refused to confirm or deny Us Weekly’s reports that such a painting exists in Rodriguez’s bedroom.

“What is that?” she said of the mythological image “That’s horrible.”

When the reporter asked Hudson, 30, to clarify the story, she deflected. “That is the craziest thing anyone has ever asked me,” she said.

“I don’t indulge in those types of stories,” she continued quietly, “As humorous as you might think they are.”

A former fling of Rodriguez recently insisted to Us Weekly that Rodriguez actually had two centaur paintings created with his likeness. “He was so vain . . . It was ridiculous,” the ex told Us.
